Chinatown Mask
This latest work was exactly what the client wanted. Not sure why he wanted a panda with a hygienic mask, but there it is.

Studio Day: Oakland Skate Deck
Painting a deck for a friend. He wants his name, Oakland motifs and some other stuff. Will finish it before the weekend. Doing some large detail work before the background and finer details.
Hey! Don’t look until it’s done!
Thank goodness my mom hoarded a million bottles of craft paint over the years.

Mural, San Francisco
This is a mural by my cousin, Victor Reyes, in the Mission District in San Francisco. He’s got art all over the city as well as other cities, too. I work with him in his studio when I’m not in school — stretching and priming canvases, picking up paint orders, crating purchased artwork for delivery. The best part is being in a studio alongside other artists who are doing their thing and hearing some good stories.
I’m learning a lot about the business and will ask him for advice when I have my first show this summer.
This is his latest mural.
